What is BLAZE?

A monthly gathering where boys and their fathers build something that lasts.

BLAZE is a boys ministry for grades 1 through 8 that meets monthly during the school year. Each gathering brings together boys and their fathers (or father figures) for an evening of adventure, service, and genuine connection.

Through church gatherings, off-site adventures, and community service projects, boys earn badges that mark their growth — not in competition, but in character. Every boy who shows up is celebrated. Every father who participates is valued.

BLAZE isn't a program you watch. It's a community you belong to.

Three Groups, One Mission

Boys are organized by grade into groups that grow with them.

Sparks

Grades 1–3

The youngest BLAZE boys. Learning what it means to be part of a team, building friendships, and discovering the joy of encouragement.

Builders

Grades 4–6

Growing in responsibility and faith. Taking on service projects, building leadership skills, and strengthening bonds of brotherhood.

Mentors

Grades 7–8

The leaders of the group. Commissioned to mentor younger boys, model character, and carry the BLAZE mission forward.

BLAZE is designed for fathers and sons to experience together. Every dad, stepdad, grandpa, or mentor is welcome.

Character isn't taught in a classroom. Through service projects, outdoor adventures, and real conversations, boys see faith lived out.
